A discretionary grant program recently launched by the The Department of Transportation (DOT), Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) seeks to combine direct federal funding for urgent projects with increased overall investment by local, state, and private entities.

Under recently released DOT notice of funding opportunity guidelines, large projects must be $25 million or larger to qualify for grants.
